Keep your base grip and upgrade it. Slide the Sleeve over it for grip that holds, even when wet.
Upgrade to a soft Cork base grip. It wraps straight around your stick and absorbs the impact.
The full upgrade. Cork as your new base grip, the Sleeve as overgrip on top. All in one box.

A field hockey grip can have two layers. This is what each one does.
The first layer, wrapped straight onto the bare handle of your stick. It gives cushioning. The Cork Grip is a base grip.
A thin layer over your base grip. It adds grip and protects the base underneath. The Sleeve Grip is an overgrip that shrinks on with boiling water.

Is your base grip still on tight? Then the Sleeve Grip is enough for more grip. Is your grip worn out, or do you want it softer? Then you need a new base grip like the Cork Grip. Not sure? The Starter Kit has both.
Yes, as long as your base grip is still on tight. Remove any worn overgrip first, like an old chamois. Then slide the Sleeve over your base grip and pour boiling water over it. It shrinks tight around your grip.
Yes. The Sleeve Grip is an overgrip, so it goes over a base grip, such as the RIBBON Cork Grip. Make sure your base grip is thick enough, so the Sleeve shrinks tight all the way down the handle.
Yes. The Cork Grip works on its own as a cushioned base grip. With a Sleeve Grip over it, you add extra grip and control, even in the rain.
Start with the base. Remove your old grip, wrap the Cork Grip from the top down and secure the end with End Tape. Then slide the Sleeve Grip over your Cork and shrink it tight with boiling water.
Choose the Sleeve size by the length of your hockey stick. For sticks of 35.5 inches and longer, take Senior (50 cm). For shorter sticks, take Junior (35 cm). The Cork Grip fits every stick.
Most players replace their grip every 2 to 4 months. Train or play several times a week? Then you'll probably replace it a bit sooner. With a Sleeve over your Cork, the Cork base grip doesn't wear, so you only replace the Sleeve.
