Great grip from one of my favourite players! Feels comfortable in the hand and provides just the right amount of grip. Very happy with it!
Jeevan Chagger
This grip is great. For someone who doesn't like traditional hockey grips and is fed up of cloth grips sliding and coming out of place this sleeve it easy to apply and stays in place. I've tried all three colours and Pink is by far more durable in my experience. Simply pop the sleeve over the area, use a heat gun or hot water to tighten and off you go. It's also brilliant in the rain as it wicks water away well so you aren't left with a damp feeling in the rain and the stick doesn't slip away.

Love the sleeve grip for easy re-gripping of any stick, just slides over and easily shrinks around the previous grip. Great colours and the easiest grip I’ve ever had to put on, without compromising the grip of the stick for the player. As soon as I got my latest stick, the first thing I did was order a ribbon sleeve! Highly reccomend and great customer service.

I just got the black sleeve, and it is so good! I put the grip on my stick, with some hot water and it worked perfectly.

I do have a tip, the sleeve was a little bit to long, so I needed to cut off a little bit.
Eros Sicari
I like this grip. It's fantastic

Questions? We have the answers

How do I put a new grip on my field hockey stick?

Remove your old grip first. Then start at the top of the handle and wrap the Cork Grip down with a slight overlap and even tension. Cut the end at an angle, fix it with one of the stickers and finish with End Tape.

How do I remove the old grip from my hockey stick?

Unwrap the old grip from the top of the handle and pull it off in one long strip. The Cork Grip has an adhesive strip that keeps it tight while you play, and it comes off without leaving glue behind on your stick.

Do I need End Tape for my Cork Grip?

End Tape is not in the box, but we recommend it. The two stickers in the box hold the end of your grip, and End Tape holds it in place even better, so the top of your hockey grip stays tight.

What is a base grip on a field hockey stick?

A base grip is the first layer you wrap around the handle of your field hockey stick. It gives cushion and comfort. The RIBBON Cork Grip is a base grip of soft foam with natural cork flakes, for use on its own or under an overgrip.

Can I put a Sleeve Grip over my Cork Grip?

Yes. The Cork Grip is your base grip and the Sleeve Grip goes over it as an overgrip, for extra grip and control. Want both? The Starter Kit has a Cork Grip, a Sleeve Grip and End Tape in one box.

How often should I replace my hockey grip?

Most players replace their grip every 2 to 4 months. Train or play several times a week? Then you'll probably replace it a bit sooner. With a Sleeve over your Cork, the Cork base grip doesn't wear, so you only replace the Sleeve.

Is the Cork Grip good for sweaty hands?

Yes. The natural cork flakes in the surface of the Cork Grip take in a little sweat, so your hands stay put on your hockey stick. The soft foam underneath also takes some of the vibration out of every hit.

Will the Cork Grip fit my hockey stick?

Yes. The Cork Grip fits every hockey stick, from junior to senior and from field to indoor. You wrap it to the length of your handle and cut off what you don't need.
