FAQ

Questions? We have the answers.

What is a hockey overgrip?

A hockey overgrip is applied over a base grip to improve grip, stick feel and control. The RIBBON Sleeve Grip uses heat-shrink technology to create a seamless fit around your hockey stick.

Why should I use a hockey overgrip?

A field hockey overgrip provides extra grip, increased confidence and better stick control. It's ideal for players looking for a more direct connection between their hands and their stick.

How often should I replace my hockey overgrip?

Because it's in direct contact with your hands, an overgrip wears faster than a base grip. Most players replace their Sleeve Grip every 2–4 months. If you train or play several times a week, replacing it more frequently helps maintain maximum performance.

Does the Sleeve Grip perform well in wet weather?

Yes. The premium PU surface provides reliable grip in both dry and wet playing conditions.

Can I use the Sleeve Grip without a Cork Grip?

Yes. However, for the complete RIBBON experience, we recommend installing it over the RIBBON Cork Grip.
