Great grip from one of my favourite players! Feels comfortable in the hand and provides just the right amount of grip. Very happy with it!
Jeevan Chagger
This grip is great. For someone who doesn't like traditional hockey grips and is fed up of cloth grips sliding and coming out of place this sleeve it easy to apply and stays in place. I've tried all three colours and Pink is by far more durable in my experience. Simply pop the sleeve over the area, use a heat gun or hot water to tighten and off you go. It's also brilliant in the rain as it wicks water away well so you aren't left with a damp feeling in the rain and the stick doesn't slip away.

Love the sleeve grip for easy re-gripping of any stick, just slides over and easily shrinks around the previous grip. Great colours and the easiest grip I’ve ever had to put on, without compromising the grip of the stick for the player. As soon as I got my latest stick, the first thing I did was order a ribbon sleeve! Highly reccomend and great customer service.

I just got the black sleeve, and it is so good! I put the grip on my stick, with some hot water and it worked perfectly.

I do have a tip, the sleeve was a little bit to long, so I needed to cut off a little bit.
Eros Sicari
I like this grip. It's fantastic

Questions? We have the answers

How do I remove the Sleeve Grip from my hockey stick?

To remove the Sleeve Grip, cut it open lengthwise with scissors, starting at the bottom of the grip, then peel it off your hockey stick. The Sleeve only shrinks around your grip and uses no glue, so the base grip underneath stays intact and undamaged.

Which Sleeve Grip size fits my field hockey stick?

Choose the Sleeve Grip size by the length of your field hockey stick. For sticks of 35.5 inches and longer, take the Senior Sleeve (50 cm). For shorter sticks, take the Junior Sleeve (35 cm).

Do I need a base grip under the Sleeve Grip?

Yes. The Sleeve Grip is an overgrip, so it goes over a base grip, such as the RIBBON Cork Grip. Make sure your base grip is thick enough, so the Sleeve shrinks tight all the way down the handle.

How often should I replace my hockey overgrip?

Replace your hockey overgrip when it starts to wear. With a Sleeve Grip, your base grip underneath stays intact, so you only replace the Sleeve. Traditional chamois grips need replacing more often.

Does the Sleeve Grip work in wet weather?

Yes. The Sleeve Grip repels water instead of soaking it up, so it stays tacky in the rain. That makes it a reliable field hockey grip for wet pitches and rainy games.

What is a field hockey overgrip?

A field hockey overgrip is a thin layer that goes over the base grip of your hockey stick. It adds grip and control, and you can replace it without changing the grip underneath. The Sleeve Grip is a 1 mm heat-shrink overgrip.

Why use an overgrip on your field hockey stick?

A field hockey overgrip gives you extra grip, more confidence and better stick control. You get a more direct connection between your hands and your stick on every touch of the ball.
